Facility Closure COVID-19 Latest Information

The Superior Douglas County Family YMCA, under the recommendation from Y-USA will be closing our facilities March 18th until further notice. We are shifting our focus and resources to the most critical needs in our community. For us that will mean providing adequate childcare options for those who must work during this challenging time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR MEMBERSHIP BILLING OPTIONS: We will continue our normal membership bank drafts. We are asking that you stay with us and continue your membership - not as a fitness facility member, but as a cause-driven member as we respond to the critical needs in our community. We are working hard providing care for children of essential workers in our community. For the duration of our closure, we are also offering virtual fitness classes for all ages by accessing our YouTube channel linked below. We know that not all of you will be able to do this, but if you can, we are asking that you refrain from freezing or cancelling your membership. READ MORE

This content will be posted on our Superior YMCA Health & Wellness Facebook page and YouTube account. Stayed tuned!

We are also offering Y360, an exciting new YMCA on-demand fitness program for adults and kids to do at home. With this resource, you and your family can exercise together while you have fun too. You can access this today at Y360 On-Demand.

YOUTH SPORTS Indoor Soccer program has been halted until further notice. All plans to extend the season once we reopen will depend when, exactly, that is able to occur. Once that decision is made we will post updates on our youth sports page, bit.ly/SuperiorSports, and email all program participants with information.

SWIM LESSONS We will be cancelling the remainder of this session and crediting participant accounts with a pro-rated voucher for the remaining swim lessons of this session. This voucher on your account will be available to apply toward your next enrollment. We expect to run our Spring Session as scheduled at this time.
