School's Out Day at the YMCA

A great way to spend your day when school is not in session. The YMCA offers a great program for elementary children ages 5-12. Activities include swimming, gym time, crafts and much more fun! Bring a bag lunch, swim suit and towel. Preregistration is required. Space is limited.

Teen Certification (Ages 12 - 15)

A 5-week class for younger teens to learn how to use the room in a safe, effective & respectful way. Participants of this training will be given special instruction on how to use the Nautilus Nitro circuit, cardiovascular equipment, the free weight area, and how to get a fitness program started. A test will be given at the end of the session. Youth must pass the test to receive a photo ID which will allow them to use the Fitness Room. Limit of 6.

Babysitting Class

This class provides ages 11-15 with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help children behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. Bring a bag lunch. Cost includes a swim at the end of the day.

Home School Gym & Swim Free Time

A great way to enhance the home school experience for the whole family. This course is designed to provide a free time for home school students/families to learn and play together. Time will be divided into an hour in the big gym or kids gym and then an hour in the pool. You can come for just gym or pool or both. Anyone under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult and the adult must be in the water with their child for increased safety. Pay by the day or sign up for the whole session and save.

Open Toddler Time

Stop by the Y to use our Kids’ Gym. Open play time includes climbing, balls, tumbling, tunnels and slides and much more! Must be accompanied by an adult. (Ages 6 and under only)

Family Fitness Hour

Do you have a child in grades 2-5? Would you like to find something healthy & active for them to do on Monday evenings? The kids will be offered a variety of fun, active things like intervals, stations, Tabata, and more in the Kid’s Gym. This weekly class also includes an educational component involving healthy eating habits and a healthy lifestyle. While you’re at it parents, you can register for Group Exercise classes and get in an awesome workout while the kids are enjoying some fun activity. It’s a healthy win-win for all! *Register for Group Ex classes at the same time you register your child for this class & get a $5 discount on both this Youth class and the Group Exercise fee. Kids Club is open at this time.
