Sensory Friendly Family Swim Event

First Sunday morning of each month 10:30am-Noon.

A sensory friendly event is an event designed to be less sensory stimulating and overwhelming. This approach often makes it easier for individuals who have sensory sensitivities and are sensitive to things like noise, light, sounds, and smells to participate in social activities and community events. Sensory Processing Issues include over– or under–responding to sensory information such as bright lights or unexpected sounds. Kids with sensory sensitives, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, may have difficulty with changes in daily routine, bright lights or loud noises, tastes or textures of certain foods, or the feeling of certain fabrics on their skin.
