Superior YMCA 2022 Annual Support Campaign

 

When you give to the YMCA's Annual Campaign, you make it possible for children, families, and adults to have access to Y programs vital to their personal growth and well-being. Through the Annual Campaign, we are able to provide financial assistance to those who need it the most.


 

         

Help Kids Experience the Magic of Camp

 

Help Adults Prevent Diabetes

 

Help Kids Stay Active Through Youth Sports

Donate to send kids to Camp Nebagamon one of the Y's in-building day camps where they can experience teamwork, make new friends, and build skills. In 2019, over 1,200 youth attended Y day camp.   Donate to support an adult attend our National Diabetes Prevention Program. Through a supportive, small group environment, participants learn how healthy eating, physical activity, and behavior changes can benefit their health. In 2019, 56 people participated in this 12-month program resulting in over 750 lbs lost.   Donate to fund financial assistance for youth sports programs through the Superior YMCA, including T-ball, basketball, soccer, flag football, and volleyball. In 2019, 1,063 kids participated in Y Sports where they learned to build character, developed skills, and have fun.

Help Kids Stay Safe in the Water

Donate to fund program scholarships for health and wellness classes through the Superior Y, including pilates, yoga, spin, cardio kickboxing, power step, and more. The Y offers over 50 group exercise classes per week.   Donate to fund scholarships to the Y's childcare programs that guide children through an age-appropriate curriculum that instill the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility under the guidance of caring adults. In 2021, 2,531 Youth registered in childcare and summer camp programs   Donate to fund scholarships for children as they learn how to swim and water safety. In 2021 1,265 kids learned swimming & water safety skills at the Superior Y.
