We provide a safe place for children to learn foundational skills, develop healthy trusting relationships, and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Our 4k preschool program is offered in partnership with the school district. It's available Monday through Friday during the school year. Children will learn readiness skills for kindergarten while enrolled in our four year old preschool program. LEARN MORE
Kid’s Club is a safe, caring, fun environment for children ages infant-8 years old while their parents are using the facility. FREE and available for Superior YMCA Family Members only. LEARN MORE
No school? No problem! Kids spend the day at the Y playing in the gym, swimming, and having plenty of free time to just play. School-Age Child Care is available 7:00 am-5:30 pm on days when Superior School District is not in session. Bring a lunch, towel and swimsuit. LEARN MORE
Shooting Stars Preschool for preschool-age children not yet eligible for 4k. It integrates the YMCA facilities with a traditional preschool experience. Children will have the opportunity to develop an increased ability to think, reason, question, and experiment. They learn how to follow directions and make choices in an environment filled with language and enrichment opportunities. LEARN MORE
A licensed program for children 5-12 (must have completed kindergarten). Children will participate in outdoor/gym activities, arts and crafts, field trips, swimming, and much more. Bring a swimsuit and towel, appropriate outdoor clothing, gym shoes, and come join the fun this summer. LEARN MORE
This is a half-day program for children 5-12 (must have completed kindergarten) that are enrolled in summer school. The program will be offered on days that summer school is in session and care will begin when summer school ends and will go through 5:00 p.m. Children will be bussed to the wrap-around care site and will spend the afternoon participating in safe and fun activities at school and within walking distance from the school.
