Kids Club is a safe, caring, and fun environment for children ages infant-8 years old while their parents are using the facility. For safety reasons, parents/guardians must remain at the Y while their child(ren) is in Kids Club. Kids Club is a FREE Superior Y Family Membership Benefit. No day passes or Nationwide.
RESERVATION REQUIRED Reservation times: Monday-Friday 8:30am-10:00am, and 10:00am-11:30am and Saturdays 9:00am-10:30am, and 10:40am - 12:00pm. Members can reserve one time slot per day. Please make your reservation HERE. Please make a reservation for each individual child. Reservations can be made up to 5 days in advance.

KIDS CLUB RULES:
SIGNING IN: Sign in each child on their own line. Parent/guardians must leave in writing all locations they will be in while children are in Kids Club. For safety reasons, parents/guardians must remain at the Y while their child(ren) are in Kids Club. No adults other than employees are allowed past the desk.
CAPACITY: Maximum capacity of 12 children per time slot. Reservation is required. Reservation times are 8:30am-10:00am, and 10:00am-11:30am.
DIAPERING: Parents are responsible for leaving their children in Kids Club wearing clean diapers. Kids Club is not equipped for diaper changes. Parents/guardians will be called over the PA system to change their child.
CRYING/UPSET CHILD: If this is your child's first time away from you, we will do everything we can to console your child(ren) if they are upset. We will not let them cry longer than 15 minutes or the allotted time you tell us before coming to get you. If we need to come and get you, your name will be announced over the PA system. Please come right away and pick up your child. We encourage you to try leaving your child with us again because we have found that children who consistently use Kids Club soon become comfortable with the staff and the surroundings.
FOOD: Snacks and drinks for your child are allowed but not provided. Please have containers labeled with the child's name. Snacks containing nuts, peanuts, or peanut products ARE NOT ALLOWED.
TOYS: All Kids Club toys are cleaned and checked for safety regularly. Please leave personal toys, coins, candy, gum, and other small objects at home. The Superior YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
ILLNESS: We cannot accept a child if they have had symptoms of illness within the past 24 hours such as (but not limited to) fever, green discharge from the body, diarrhea, cough, lethargy, unexplained rashes, and/or vomiting. Children suspected of illness will be sent home and asked not to return for at least 24 hours after symptoms are gone.
DISCIPLINE POLICY: Our discipline policy is mainly redirection. If that does not work, a time out equal in minutes to the child's age will be given. If a child is a continuous threat to the safety of other children, we will ask you to come and remove your child.
EMERGENCIES: Kids Club staff are trained in CPR, Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention, Blood Borne Pathogens, and First Aid. Parents/Guardians will be notified of an accident or injury that involved their child.
CHILD ABUSE: Cases of suspected neglect or child abuse will be reported to the proper authorities as outlined by state law.
